Introduction
To ensure compliance with international Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and economic sanctions programs, UniGlobe Partners LLP (“UniGlobe,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) maintains a list of prohibited and restricted jurisdictions. By accessing or using the Platform, you (“User,” “Creator,” or “Backer”) acknowledge that services are not available to residents or entities of these countries.
The use of the Platform from any restricted jurisdiction is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Jurisdictions
- Sanctioned Countries – Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, North Korea (DPRK), and Syria.
- Restricted Regions – Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
- High-Risk Jurisdictions – Myanmar, South Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, and Libya.
- Banking Restrictions – Russia and Belarus (due to international payment processing and SWIFT limitations).
Compliance & Verification
- Users must not be citizens, residents, or entities of the prohibited jurisdictions.
- All accounts are subject to mandatory KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML screening.
- UniGlobe Partners LLP reserves the right to request additional identity and residency documentation.
- Attempts to circumvent geographic restrictions via VPN or proxy servers are a violation of our Terms.
Account Restrictions
If a User is identified as being located in a prohibited jurisdiction, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend or terminate the account.
- Reject or freeze any Pledges or cryptocurrency transactions.
- Restrict the withdrawal of any funds until legal compliance is verified.
Cryptocurrency Restrictions
Due to local legal prohibitions on digital assets, users from the following countries may be restricted from making or receiving cryptocurrency-based Pledges:
- People’s Republic of China (Mainland).
- Algeria, Egypt, and Morocco.
- Any other jurisdiction where crypto-assets are legally barred.
Amendments
This Unsupported Countries List is updated dynamically to reflect changes in international law, OFAC sanctions, and Singaporean regulatory requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with immediate effect.
